Bygul is named after one of Freya's two cats from Norse mythology — Bygul and Trjegul, who pulled her chariot. Bygul means "honey-gold", Trjegul means "tree-gold". They're also the names of our two signature cocktails: Honey-Gold and Tree-Gold.
